Legalesign
Legalesign is an integrated eSignature platform for growing companies based in Cambridge.
View live siteLegalesign decided that it was time to spruce up both their site and their product interface. In an ambitious project, they wanted to launch both at the same time.
Legalesign’s previous site was a hard coded, static site that was hard to manage and required developer support for even the smallest change. The team wanted a site that was more flexible and scalable, so they decided that not only was it time for new designs, but time to implement a content management system.
In the early stages of the project we worked with the Legalesign design and marketing teams to create a strategy that would meet the requirements of the new site. This included the site structure, new pages, migrations and how designs would be implemented to accommodate a headless CMS.
With the internal team, we made the decision to go with Storyblok for their CMS because of its live editor and well structured ‘block’ approach which would create a number of reusable components.
Legalesign’s development team were familiar with React so we chose NextJS as our framework and the internal designers incorporated Tailwind into new site designs which made translating designs into code fast, efficient and consistent.
The entire website redesign and rebuild project spanned four months, during which the team stayed in regular contact via slack. We shared comprehensive progress updates at the end of each month with more regular updates when new pages/ sections had been completed.
There's a lot to talk about with Legalesign's new site, both from a design and capability standpoint. Let's dive in!
Header navigation
The Legalesign website is a relatively large one. so instead of going down the route of a classic, more simple navigation, the design team saw the opportunity to make the header navigation an experience itself.
With products getting the spotlight, featured case studies, top resources and incorporated support form this navigation has reached new heights.
The nav bar is also anchored along the bottom of the view screen as you browse for easy navigation.
Pricing page
With a number of plans to suit all businesses, Legalesign designed a standout pricing featuring a comprehensive comparison table to detail each plans differences.
Customer stories
Instead of a more classic customer stories section, the Legalesign team decided to collect customer feedback and testimonials from places like Google, G2 and Capterra alongside their case studies. You can click on many of these stories to reach the original source or case study.
Blog articles
Where most blogs show related articles, Legalesign has gone a step further to enable visitors to filter all articles directly from any post. The anchored articles on the left of the body can be filtered by category, saving the user from returning to the main blog to explore more content.
App documentation
Legalesign provides a comprehensive library of app documentation to help users navigate the product with ease and resolve their frequently asked questions fast. Longer articles even include a handy table of content anchored to the right of the content to help users.
